The Main Challenge

This luxury handbag brand client recently emerged from a hiatus, and invested in Facebook Ads Management in the hopes of reigniting interest among an Australian audience. They felt the previous ad agency provided plenty of technical ad support, but didn’t provide creative direction and support with their overall messaging for the ads.

With higher-priced items ranging from $500 to $1,500 and above, we knew that generating purchases in such a competitive market would be challenging and tapping into their brand’s heritage would help us stand out from the crowd.

The Goal

The client’s goal was not only to strengthen brand awareness across the country, but also to generate enough purchases to keep their ads profitable. Achieving a high enough return on ad spend (ROAS) to cover their ad spend and increase their revenue month-on-month was crucial.

The Strategy

Since the client had limited brand awareness and it was crucial for audiences to understand the brand’s heritage to justify the high prices, we concentrated heavily on the ad creatives. 

We spent months perfecting scripts, storyboards, and editing high-production content that would accurately convey the brand’s story – while maintaining a luxury and high-value appearance.

We kickstarted our 3-month campaign with a focus on building awareness of the brand and traffic to the website, followed by shifting to a conversions-focused campaign optimised for sales once we had established some brand messaging groundwork. 

The Results

In just under three months, our Conversions campaigns had achieved $15,454 in revenue with a 10.2x return on ad spend.
